Hello, my name is Jessica Herrera Cañas, I am from Antioquia Argelia. I am a student, I am 24 years old, and I am single, I dont have kids, I am studying of the security and health at work and in my free time I like to listen to music and watch movies.

 

I am from Antioquia Argelia, I live with my boyfriend and my dog, I live in a small apartment, but it is comfortable, the place where I live is very beautiful, there is a very big company also there are many houses of various colors, there is a horse eating grass and there are also many people.

I wake up at 6:00 AM, then I am breakfast at 8:00 AM; I as rice, meat and chocolate, then I travel by bus to go to work, I lunch at 12 noon, for lunch I have soup, salad, meat and blackberry juice, I return home at 4 PM, after work I do task of the university, I have dinner at 6:00 PM, for the dinner I have rice, meat. Salad and blackberry juice. I go to sleep at 10 at night, on weekends study and then I exercise, I study very little English because it is very difficult for me.

Traté de participar en todos debido a que necesitaba tener en cuenta todas las indicaciones y no soy muy buena en ingles por lo que me esfuerzo mucho por aprender.

Aprendí la importancia de responder preguntas teniendo en cuenta los pronombres personales, crear textos teniendo en cuenta la ortografia, gramatica y la manera como utilizar conectores para dar coherencia a estos.

Es muy imprtante ya que en la vida me puedo enfrentar a una vida laboral en donde el ingles es fundamental y si no se ni dar una respuesta puedo perjudicarme, ademas puedo llegar a viajar en un futuro y va a ser fundamental que sepa tanto preguntar como responder en ingles.

I travel by bus to go to work.

Talking about my city/town:

The main touristic places in Argelia are a small statue in honor to the mule, there is also a place called “El rancho de Juancho”, and there is a swimming pool called “la playa”.

The typical food in my city is the “Bandeja paisa” and the “Sancocho de gallina”.

(Bandeja Paisa) is made out of beans, rice, avocado, sausage, plantain, meat, egg, and arepa.
(Sancocho de gallina) is prepared with chicken, potatoes, green plantains, cassava and cob, carrots and cilantro are also used.
- What are the main celebrations in your city/town? 

The main celebrations in my city are the peasant festivals and the festivals in honor of the mule.

 People usually participate in horseback riding, they also dance with friends, they also eat in stalls and drink beer with the family.

 

- What activities can visitors do in your city or town? 

In my town visitors can visit beautiful places, enjoy the food, go to the rivers, and walk around with friends and family.

I live in Argelia, and I am going to tell you about this beautiful little town. Argelia is a small little town located in Antioquia, Colombia. It is a tourist place, and there is a small statue honoring the mule in the central park, Also, there is a place called "El rancho de Juancho", where you can go and have a delicious “Bandeja Paisa” typical food, and there is also a swimming pool known as "the beach".

In December, people usually celebrate the Mule festivities. People sometimes go out to the park with friends and family to eat. Also, in my town there are some tourist places and people usually take pictures with friends and go trekking to the rivers. 

Finally, in my town, you can visit and find beautiful places, enjoy the food, visit rivers, and enjoy wonderful landscapes with friends and Family. I would like no live forever in my town. Come and visit and get to know the magnificent Argelia. 

 

El estudio del E-book me permitió adquirir varios conocimientos para poder llevar a cabo la actividad.

Siempre he tratado de estar al día con las publicaciones en el foro de manera que si recibo alguna recomendación por parte del tutor poder realizar los cambios a tiempo para dedicarles el tiempo y aprender.

 

Me dedique mucho a prepararme, de manera que me grababa, y practicaba mucho la pronunciación, debido a la asistencia a todos los componentes prácticos y demás ayudas sincrónicas el tutor me homologó ese punto.

En este momento siento más confianza a la hora de expresarme, aunque son consciente que debo practicar mucho mas para poder afianzar los conocimientos.

Para mi principalmente en lo personal es un reto por lo que nunca me había dado la oportunidad de por lo menos hablar en una clase por temor y así mismo considero que es fundamental en mi vida laboral para poder crecer profesionalmente y aspirar a nuevos proyectos.
