These ideas/concepts are all connected in many different ways. The three connections that stood out to me where Equity, Personalized Learning Plans and AI and Creativity are all connected. This can really help students access material in a whole new way and see their learning in a new way as well.

Our first hexagon was Ethical Considerations and then from there we built off. We found some good links with UDL, lesson planning, and assessments because as teachers we know how intertwined those 3 things are!

AI and creativity are connected to adaptive learning platforms and AI-powered tutoring systems because AI can adapt and differentiate to the individual users' needs through training and guided prompts.

I think the strongest connectivity is the section with Ai and Creativity in the center. You need to use prompts, it increases workflow, it is fun way to tutor, it gives you immediate feedback, it is skill highly sought after for future success in life/workplace.

1. Most of the hexagons are able to connect to several of the other words.

2. I didn't realize how connected special education would be for AI until making the connections during this activity.

3. This activity highlighted how useful AI can be with creativity during the lesson planning process.

We placed Special Education close to UDL and Equity and Access since UDL is so important for every student to ensure access for all students.
We placed AI Enhanced Feedback next to assessment - I'm intrigued by this one and want to learn more.
We placed Human & AI Hybrid teams with Co-pilot or thought partner and workflow with the thought that Lesson planning can be enhanced with the use of AI.

The connection AI and Creativity to Future Skills and AI enhanced feedback. These three connection stuck out to me because I am conflicted with AI use. On one I suspect it will limit traditional skills like how cursive writing went away for typing skills, to computer skills. The students need to be proficient with AI because I suspect like the initial tech boom AI will open industries by the time they leave high school that do not exist yet.

Ethical Considerations was our first connections. We said that AI and Creativity needs to be connected since AI and creativity, and human artist are things to think about when dealing with artwork for example.

Lesson Planning and UDL are connected because that is something we are incorporating and are buzz words.

UDL and Personalized Learning Paths connect since this is what needs though about. This caters to the learner.

The concepts are all interconnected in some way, depending entirely on the context. UDL is a concept surrounded by other hexagons and is at the forefront of utilizing various lesson planning methods and instructional tools. AI can offer different tools to eliminate barriers and diversify how students access content and express their thinking.

The Co-Pilot or Thought Partner is there to help you generate your ideas. Your ideas, along with the support of AI, can help students learn in the best way possible, which is through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This activity would be great for my special education stduents to learn new vocabulary words and practicing speaking the vocabualry as well.

to reiterate what the other team mates shared we chose UDL as the focus for out hexagon map. The connections that stood out to me were the combination of Lesson Planning and AI and Creativity that were connected to Future skills, (which our students will need), and the connection between AI and creativity with Human and hybrid teams and Future skills.
