Animals get there energy by consuming other animals that have energy. Like a lion eats the dear, the deer, gives the lion energy it consumed earlier. The deer got its energy from a plant. Plants are regularly the producer that uses sun energy to get energy. When the deer eats the plant the energy transferres to the deer and when the deer gets eaten the same prosses happens. The food chain begins with the sun: plants get their energy by photosynthesizing sunlight into energy, and then herbivores eat those plants to get their energy. Carnivores who then eat the herbivores are getting that sunlight passed along from sun to plant to herbivore to carnivore.

Animals that eat plants are called herbivores. Animals that eat other animals are called carnivores. Animals that eat both are called omnivores. Then they decompose. Then when they decompose plants eat the nutrients from the decomposed animal. That’s called a food chain, then it goes over and over again.

The food chain starts with the producer.The producer is the organism that makes their own food by taking energy from the sun ,and this process is called photosynthesis.

The consumers are the organism that can’t make their own food. There are 3 types of consumers:

Herbivores (herbivores eat plants)

Carnivores (carnivores eat meat)

Omnivores (omnivores eat both)

The decomposer is the organism that takes energy from the decomposed animals and humans.

Let's firstly talk about the flow of energy. The flow of energy is when the energy of a living thing goes from one to another. Producers start the food chain producers are organisms that can make their food. The process of the plants making their food is called photosynthesis. Plants take carbon dioxide from the air which helps them create their food.

Consumers: let's firstly talk about the 3 types of animals first one is herbivores

Herbivores: only eat plants

Carnivores: only eat meat

Omnivores: eat both

Decomposers: decomposers are a living organisms that feed on dead or decaying used to be living things because they are dead so I guess R.I.P them
