Where you live impacts how you live because if you live in a cold place you can't have a shelter where a lot of wind would go. And if its a hot place you can't take shelter in a place where there would be no air circulating. If you live in the mountains you get limited resources and its mostly animals because crops aren't usual in the mountains.

Believed to be linked to the earth's power to create life, women determined how the food would be distributed — a considerable power in a farming society". I think this line is important because, it shows that the Iroquois were special because of the women. The women were very powerful. It shows how important, determined and powerful women were in the Iroquois tribe.

Part of the French colonists worked with the Iroquis to fight other Iroquis. It is really conspicuous on how the Native American's betrayed themselves.
