She enjoyed watching the different seasons and the changes it brought; In Spring, she watched as the grass turn green and the robins returned from the south. In summer, she watched the trees cover themselves with leaves and white daisies. 
The Little House was very happy, but at night she would wonder what it would be like to live in the city, as she watched the city lights twinkle out in the distance. Eventually, a city was  built around her, and she soon realizes how noisy, everyone was busy and in a hurry. She could no longer gaze at the stars, she grew sad and lonely.
