It was a movement lead by civil rights activist.The goal of this movement was to start desegregation in a nonviolent way. Even martin Luther king . Jr was involved in this movement. It led to 1,000 African Americans being arrested in Albany.  The movement failed it wasn't enough to achieve civil justice for African Americans of Albany. Dr. King felt as if he failed his mission .
