Topics: Verbs and reading

Will start with introduction of verbs for Praful and understanding their types. As this would be Lucky's first English language class, will start by checking for his understanding and command over the language by asking him to read a paragraph from his textbook, basic spellings etc. Objective for the class is to introduce Verbs and its types to Praful and check Lucky's understanding of the language.

Topic : Pronouns and some text book topics .

Flow: for the first 15 mins I'll check their knowledge of nouns. If I get satisfactory answers than I'll move forward with pronouns otherwise I'll teach them again. Remaining hour I'll teach them pronouns. First I'll teach them in Gujarati સર્વનામ - નામ ને બદલે વપરાતો શબ્દ . Then I'll explain in English with the help of table of first person second person and third person.

And the last half hour I'll give them reading practice from textbook.

Activity: I'll make flashcards for pronouns and ask them to show the respective flashcard for the nouns I ask.

LP topics - Pronouns ,Determiners( demonstrative and possessive pronouns) , Reading and discussion of an article on importance of Education.

Objective - Understanding of the topic pronouns and they should be able to differentiate between demonstrative and possessive pronouns.

( Article) Improve their reading skills,learn new English Words and somewhat they should realise the point of why do they study.

Flow- ( 10 min ) Greetings and some conversation

(20 min) make them understand topic pronouns and determiners

(30 min ) reading of the article and noting down the new words and understanding their meaning

(15 min) discussion over their povs

(15 min) learning new basic sentences to use in daily life or reading of a portion from the story book

a. Distribute the chits or small pieces of paper with words written on them to the students.

b. Instruct the students to read each word on their chit and determine whether it is a demonstrative pronoun or a possessive pronoun.

c. Ask the students to place each word under the appropriate labeled sign.

Topic -Reading and understanding chapter 3

Objective

to make him understand the meaning of the chapter and common words used throughout and make him do the scoring topics.

Flow

1:Reading the chapter,

Topic - reading practice

: using a simple gujarati word in a sentence or situation that he can relate to, so they understand its meaning better with reading as well

:to practice reading the word on their own and in different contexts to reinforce their learning.

:i gave him a book of gujarati consonant and vowels and much more to learn but checking a homework first and then will start the class

Topic: main topic to cover will be multiplication and basic understanding of tables

Flow: so i will start with a little bit of talking and checking of homework, then will give them some sums of subtraction so that they do not forget concepts of subtraction after these question i will start with reciting the tables of 4&5.

Activity: i will start multiplication directly with activity.. i will take a half chart with me with sketches and if for example we have to do a sum 4*5 we will draw 4 horizontal lines and 5 vertical lines and count the number of intersecting points will be the answer..

2. Ravindra and Yash I'm expecting to have taught 2 digit multiplication to by the end of the lesson. (Revise in the case of Yash) Shyam I'll give extra questions to for addition and subtraction, since he seems to require more practice.

3. For engagement, I think we'll play a trivia kind of game but with math questions where they have to pick a question difficulty level, and they get points accordingly.

Topic - we will first start with test of mcq for psychology for all chapter.

Then i have thought of making him write essay so that he gets into practice of it on how to write in exam. This wag he would be more prepared for upcoming exams.

Flow - it would be first 30 min mcq test and then 45 min will be for writing essay .

Activity - activity would be the paper he would be giving in the class.

1. Topic: Probability

   Being able to do all the easier questions, and questions based on cards, coins, objects involving prime no., even/odd no., and complementary probability questions

2. Flow:

   10 min to revise what we have covered so far in the chapter, finish homework if incomplete, and then finish up remainder of questions in Exercise 2, and then around an hour of writing practice,

   thinking of reducing the overall class length to 1:45 so I have some time to connect better with them and figure out their plans for boards

3. Engagement:

   Since I'm trying to simulate exam conditions in class to make them ready, and make it so they can do the questions from textbook itself, no engagement planned

   Insufficient time for actually teaching topic in innovative manner

I will be doing scenario reasoning and checking his ethics and values. If time permits I will also be doing some basic Math.

I will make sure the scenarios are something he might possibly face in his life or would have faced in his life.

The topic is extremely interactive with it completely being a dialogue and depending on his answers.

Topic : 2 sections : 1. Economics, 2. English

Objective : 1. I want him to revise certain topics in economics which are his weak points and teach him time management for the paper writing.

2. I want him to learn basic sentence framing and how he can easily answer certain questions by himself.

Flow: 1. Understanding/ Revising (30 mins) : We will spend first 15 minutes revising through certain parts of the question papers so that I can understand which part is his weak point, then we will go forward with any 2 topics to clear up in another 15 minutes.

2. Time management (10 mins) : will share techniques with him about how he can split his time in exam to make sure everything is covered.

3. English reading (10 mins) : Will have a small reading session from his question paper paragraphs. and will write up new words that he would come across with their meaning.

5. Checking for understanding (10 mins) : We will read the same paragraph and will ask him to identify the different types of sentences and how they are structured.

6. Application (10 mins) : will discuss with him how he can implement all this in his paper.

2)Topic: Food chain. I will make sure that students understand the food chain effectively.

3) Flow: I will explain what is a food chain and after that I will ask them to think about the food cycle.

After that I will explain them about the basic food cycle

b) Will make a food cycle process using pictures and colours.

Initially check their knowledge about speed, velocity and acceleration. And their graph interpretation. Then if they are able to understand all of them then will try to derive equations of motion.

For engagement will be taking examples from our day to day life and showing how we experience it without knowing.

Flow: Cover forests and wastewater story chapter. Ask questions about what has been taught previously and make sure they are retaining information effectively.

Activity: Drawing activity with imp diagrams from the above two chapters

1.Elements and Compounds (10 minutes):

Objective:

Differentiate between elements and compounds.Define elements as substances made up of only one type of atom. Explain compounds as substances made up of two or more different types of atoms chemically bonded together.

Flow: will start with the revision which we learn in previous class next will do some writing practice of science terms and then we will also do reading practices.Summarize the key points covered in the lesson.

Reinforce the importance of understanding atoms and molecules in the study of chemistry.

For engagement: We will play game together to know each other.

Topic : will be teaching him about swachah Bharat abhiyan.

Learning objective : want him to know about all the acts regarding cleanliness by our government.

Key points to cover : acts by our government, responsibility of citizens and what further can be done for it.

Bonding activity : will discuss what if there was no proper cleanliness system imposed by the government. How will the surroundings look like that.
