<title>I started to investigate the many questions I am hoping to answer with my research. The first questioned I hoped to address is what is the source of all these trends come from. I mean don’t you think it’s weird that there’s only a few trends at once? How could people all the interested in one thing long enough to like a common thing? Well what I found out is, trends come from fashion designers and then trickle down to everyone else. Our trends stem from what fashion designers put out. You see all these outrages designs on the runway but what you don’t realize is… you’re wearing their clothes just a more toned down version. They see things they like and give it a dramatic flair because the people that make the clothes are very open minded, they are always looking for the new and best inspiration. I found a source that had already worked in the fashion industry for a long time, he said the trends all are similar because the designers are all exposed to the same inspiration. Designers are very secretive they don’t expose what they’re doing to anyone, until after its released. No one is sharing ideas but we all live in the same world and see a lot of the same thing. We all see the same movies, same books, same everything, it would only be natural we want to wear the same things. The latest inspiration can come from vacations a designer took that year, or a top grossing movie they all saw. The movie “Memoirs of a Geisha,” came out in 2001 then suddenly, a flood of geisha inspired outfits came out on the majority of high fashion run ways. Fashion trends are interesting because they kind of document important moments in history. Source: http://searchingforstyle.com/2010/04/fashion-101-where-do-fashion-trends-come-from/</title>
