The fall of England: The messy truth.

The fallen politician Boris Johnson who has had his highs and lows went from rocking England to rocking his way out of parliament. Now there is another problematic politician in charge: Rishi Sunak. The requests he has for the people of England is unrealistic. He has made many unnecessary changes regarding schools and education such as enforcing maths upon students until the age of 18. Many people feel strongly about this because pupils may have came up with a plan for their future and made a choice on which subjects they would need to study for their job of choice. Unfortunately, people in schools and academies are being stripped of the choice to study maths or not to. There was a rejected petition on the 17th January 2024 to reduce the 6 week summer holidays within schools (7 weeks in academies) to 4 weeks.

So it seems Rishi Sunak is eager to change education but why? Sunak has a rather harsh take on education as he has been said to have made quite grand requests for schools and other forms of education. He has recently suggested that we cancel all 2024 bank holidays to improve the economy. Some are starting to question whether he wants to make a difference or wants to make students sweat. What do you think? Is he better than Boris Johnson or equally as bad?

Comment what you think and I will see you in the next article.

Recently a trend has started on TikTok where people are seen putting olive oil and sea salt on vanilla ice cream. This has been a widely eaten combination however it became more popular after Dua Lipa said on an interview with DJ Greg James at Radio 1 that she isn’t a fan of chocolate ice cream and prefers to have this controversial yet trending snack. Many people have said that this has caused them to “lose their sweet tooth.” Of course it was going to gain popularity, a famous pop star has it, it simply just needed to be tried by some TikTokers and it would become popular.

The interesting combo of sweet and savoury has gained traction in the last couple of days however not everyone was appreciative of this newly emerging flavour. Do you think this would taste good? Or have you tried it?

Comment what you think and I will see you in the next article.

As we all know the Stanley cup has been blowing up on every social media platform, and with good reason.

I myself have one, and I can’t say I’m disappointed. This cute cup is easy to carry and lasts hours. Not only is this cup insulated it holds 40 ounces of water, or whatever liquid you’re drinking this summer. Although the hype surrounding this cup is a little overboard, I think it deserves its credit, surviving a fire isn’t something every cup does.

The Stanley cup is the perfect accessory to go with all of your summer outfits. Whether you’re going on a shopping spree or walking through a park the Stanley cup will give your summer fits the summer pop they need.

Although this cup is enjoying its time in the spotlight another water bottle has came into the room of trends. The Owala seems to be stealing some of the attention off the Stanley cup.

Do you think that the Stanley cup is worth all the hype? Have you got one?

Comment what you think and I will see you in the next article.
