These chemicals can cause health hazards for humans that rely on the water.

Contaminated water can cause skin irritation and nausea, as well as allowing microbes to spread and cause pandemics. Most importantly, the chemicals can support bacteria and viruses that can spread diseases to those most susceptible to them.

We can prevent people from being harmed by this laundry detergent pollution by using eco-friendly detergents and using less water during washing cycles.
