The tratan is coloured Red and Blue so I will incorporate these colours into our vehicle. Our last name (Turnbull) also details the story of a Scotsman stopping a charging bull and turning it to save the king. We will have bull horns in the design of the vehicle.



Desmonds Culture - I am deep into film culture and have a huge knowledge of film and film making. I love the cinema experiece so will have a mini cinema incorportated into our ship. I will also have a section that looks similar to the Star Wars X-Wing which is one of my favourite ship desings.



Matariki Element - I have chose the matariki star Waiti which represent fresh water. We are going to make a space ship. It will be the shape of a boat, but with the ability to glide in space with the help of some modern wings and turbo blasters (more on those coming up) Because ships are open planned, there will be a glass dome on top for breathing purposes.

Matariki Culture
We are using the Matariki culture by incorporating Ururangi which is one of the seven sisters. Ururangi represents wind, so we will blend that into our vehicle by making it wind powered! There will be small windmills located in the keel of the boat that will produce wind (duh) which will then travel through a tube of fire, creating a turbo blaster that will power our ship. Fresh air from earth will be continuously pumped into the ship to support the humans and animals onboard.

Our Culture
We are incorporating New Zealand culture, because we are both from New Zealand. We will do this by incorporating two iconic NZ things into the design of our ship.

Pohutukawa Tree
The Pohutukawa tree, otherwise known as the New Zealand Christmas tree, is an absolutely stunning tree that only grows in New Zealand, making it a perfect fit to celebrate our culture. Green and red colours will be incorporated onto the design of the outside of the ship to represent the beautiful plant.

Endangered Animals
One of the main parts of NZ culture is wide range of native animals. Some of these animals include the Kiwi, little blue penguins the NZ sea lion and the Maui dolphin. These species are critically endangered and we would like to contribute to keeping them alive by incorporating natural environments for each one in our ship.
