Sounds of gunfire and bullet hitting against anything in it's path. The smell of smoke filled anyone sensors, ash covered anyone faces. I wiggled myself underneath the ruddled remains of a tank that was left behind. People yelled in victory or in pain, but all I saw was what those yells caused.Friends, crewmates, family, either stood, limped or laid face down in the muddy wasteland. I couldn't take it, I had to stop all of it. One life to save a ton, would be worth it. Maybe they will write stories about me, maybe they won't ever know who stop the fight. Either way it would stop. The tank had some gas leaking, if I just set the gernadae here, the tank would also expole making everyone run. Ending these never end push and pull. I waged the gernadae in to the bottom of the tank, pulling the pin. 3.... I closed my eyes covering my head. 2..... asking for god to let me in though those gates. 1.... hope that there is something on the other side of life.

In a standoffish sense, he awaited the arrival of a long overdue visitor. The blurring sense of time, and the swirling sense of the colors around him brought attention to his distraught demeanor. He felt only fear envelop his soul.

There he was, the tall, somber male with misted eyes. He felt the anxiety amplify, knowing that this would be their final goodbye. Seeing the lanky man stand nearly three feet from him set into motion the tears falling down his own face. In the end, he knew he couldn't hold onto a sick man forever.

There I was. In that small pink house on the corner of the busy residential street. In that house, it smelled of stale cookies and dust. Crammed for space we would sit in the basement laughing to the point of tears playing that dumb game. Brings a frown to my face.

Now, in the middle of the corn and wheat fields in the middle of nowhere where the smell of manure from the livestock roams around. I stay in that farm house all cozy. With mama whippin up that delicious soup in the kitchen. I sit in my room, content with life

The park tube slide now has a pile of poop in it thanks to my friend Brooke. These girls we met just now asked us to play truth or dare and knowing Brooke she won’t back down. So far it has been fun and all the girls seem nice. One girl ate an ant and the other one had water spit on her by her friend. I’m glad we met and It’s my turn, those girls look at me like I was the only food they’ve seen in weeks. “Go down the slide” the girl with brown curly hair said. Shoot how am I going to do this. “You’re joking right?” I’m sweating but they are all looking at me “no” she says, and so I say “ok”. I’m climbing up the stairs and meet the entrance to the slide and look down to my destiny. If I just keep my 🤬 up and crab walk down then I’m sure to be safe. While I go down the slide it works, i'm not touching the slide and I’m so close to this being over. I reach the end and just have to maneuver my body to not touch the slide, but my elbow gives in and I’m in a pile of poop. I need new friends.

Its a place where everything is dark. the sky the trees the grass. It was as dark as the night that came after the day in the dessert. This place is cold and the people there are as rude as your uncle. They always dress in black with long hair and glasses on but you can never see their face. They always shout insults at me for some reason. Today though was different. It was different because one of them complemented me. Which for some reason mad everything a little brighter and warmer. Then another said I like your shoes and then another said they liked my hoodie. All of a sudden I was surrounded by people who gave me confidence to be who I truly am. IT lighten up that place so now I can see the whole space.

He walks across the silent tracks, his footsteps the only sound to be heard. He does not know where he is going. His big yet, fragile, hand reaches for the rusted cold railing. His crooked smile that is too big for his face, appears brightly through the charcoal black sky. His burly laugh goes through the crisp, icy air, as if he said a joke to himself. The trees are rapidly moving as the wind picks up. He looks around and finally stares up at the blinding, moon and all of the stars dancing around it. His mind is clear, his eyes shut for a moment as he drags out a long breath. The stench of alcohol fills his nose as he looks over the railing. City lights beam at him from such a far distance, they look like fireflies.

Smiling he steps up onto the cold rail. The wind starts attacking his hair, running off with his tattered beanie. His crooked smile appears towards the speckled sky one last time. Then he takes a deep breath and falls towards the snow covered ground. The trees go silent, the wind no longer moves, and a thud was the last noise made that night.

He also grabs a candy bar and soda, and places it in the counter joyfully. He smiles brightly at the clerk. When the clerk tells him his total, the boys face drops and all his happiness leaves him. He kindly asks the clerk to remove the candy bar, as well as the soda. He pulls out his WIC card and swipes it, and is relieved when he realizes he has enough. He starts to run, not knowing where hes going he feels like he needs to. He starts to sweat but a cold sweat, the fog that blankets the forest floor begins to thicken and the boy starts to pick up his pace. He keeps running till his lungs are screaming.
