young, she is already learning how to be a strong independent woman. Her mom is teaching her early to be proud of her beliefs, and is constantly wearing clothes like the shirt in the picture below. The sub that is taking over until she gets back had trouble getting control of this class. She continued to teach the class despite all of the chaos that was going on, which I’m not sure if that was the best solution because she didn't even try to regroup the kids.
I think that the students need a more firm substitute that will make sure they are getting their work done, rather than a sub that has the mindset that if they want to do their work, it's up to them.

I had Mrs. Briggs as my kindergarten teacher, which was 10 years ago, so I wasn't sure if she would remember me. Not only did she remember me, but she welcomed me to be a cadet in her class with open arms. Mrs. Briggs will always have a special place in my heart, and I will forever be so grateful for this opportunity she has given me.
