I believe a state does have the right to secede. If a state agrees it's no longer satisfied with the country as a whole, it has a right to leave -- if with other states as well -- to form its own country and live life to its desired ways.

Yes if they don't agree then they don't agree with what the others are doing.

Yes I do believe they do because of the times they lived in a lot was happening that they did not agree on with the North so I believe they have the right to secede.

I think states should have a right to secede if the whole state decides that this is the right decision. I think the only issue will be that a state won't be able to protect themselves.

I don't think so, one state seceding would get it nowhere and is bound to fail and come back to the established government. If multiple were to secede together and establish their own government then maybe.

Yes in my opinion only because the federalists made it clear that no such right would exist under the constitution.

They do have a right but the state will fail on its own because all the states in the U.S. are connected.

The Constitution states that such a right would not exist, and they should have the right to secede because the Federalists made this clear.
