In this advertisement product, the product is called 'AYDS,' which sounds like a medical condition, aids. The product's name sounds offputting, and the image of the woman running doesn't help. The product was meant to help aid Hollywood stars; however, it caused them to steer away from the candy. The marketing and appearance are fails themselves. Nobody wants to consume something that sounds like a medical condition you can contract through sexual activities or shared injections.

The company and product above are advertising snack pretzels. Most food companies will advertise their products by placing displays or billboards out in public. Therefore several of these advertisement stands were placed all over NYC a few years back. At first glance, the ad doesn't seem off-putting until it's analyzed in close detail. People who have experienced or are recovering from eating disorders may find and view the ad as offensive and harmful. Many people have interpreted the ad as suggesting eating disorders to the public, especially with how society has shifted perspectives on eating disorders in the last decade. The ad seems rather sensitive and offensive rather than a normal food ad. The marketing department for the brand probably didn't mean to offend the public, but societal's standards and views have shifted, causing things to be interpreted in different ways than intended.

Like most fast-food restaurants, Burger King has had plenty of marketing failures over the years. However, this ad remained unforgettable for its misinterpretation and marketing failure to the public. The way the objects are placed in the ad makes it look as if the lady is doing something sexual with the odd-looking seven-inch sandwich. The line, "It'll blow your mind away," sounds like the lady is giving the sandwich a blow. Everything about this ad and the description sounds sexual in all the wrong ways. I don't know if it was intended to be interpreted as suggestive, but the public took the ad in a different way unrelated to food.

The ad itself speaks for itself on why the product wasn't successful in certain demographics. At first glance, the picture looks inappropriate as it resembles a male's lower body part. Besides the image, the description can be interpreted as sexually suggestive. The ad gets progressively worse the more you read into it. The joystick and ad make it seem like someone is playing with their private parts. I'm sure the brand didn't intend for the market to make this interpretation; however, the marketing for the product is a complete failure. It seems as if the marketing department didn't even spare a second glance before releasing the ad to the public.

In this advertisement, a brand's soap is advertised through a commercial/poster ad. There's an individual plunged to death with a kitchen knife, and they're bleeding all over the floor. Also, the killer has blood running down his arm and hand. It's not clear if anyone overlooked this ad before it was released. From what's shown, it seems like the brand is trying to show how to get away with murder and how to clean up a crime scene. I see what the company was trying to get across; however, the advertisement can be interpreted inappropriately and isn't well thought out. The product suggests how to get rid of blood criminalizing blood.
