Sa takdang aralin natin ngayong linggo, ikwento niyo sa amin kung ano ang nasa puso at isip ninyo. Wag matakot na maging malikhain, at nawa ay tulungan tayo ng Banal na Espirito na kilalanin Siya at ang ating mga sarili. Kitakits sa Sabado! 

I recall from my Biology class, there was a part,

When my teacher had talked about chambers, there were four,

Where blood flows in my body as if taking a tour.

For every beat it makes as my muscles jump,

I wonder what makes my heart unceasingly pump?

What makes it flutter and skip a beat?

Allow me to tell you every bit.

It pumps when it sees food, all over Instagram and Facebook,

Chocolates, sushi, pizza, shawarma, and milk tea are all it took,

To keep me smiling as the rider is booked.

It leaps when I get appreciation from people I love,

When they say I am funny, helpful and loved, 

I feel lifted up above

Every “your order is shipped” notification,

Gives me great satisfaction

And I yearn to hear my boss say that I’ve helped a lot in this season.

My fingers have a life of their own,

As they tap through my phone, 

And find one video after another.

It never ends, my break is only for my bladder.

So you see my heart leaps and dances,

To every fascinating treasure it passes.

But deep down in my heart I hear a whisper, soft as a scritch

All these treasures seem empty but within reach.

Unlike the steady slow heartbeat a certain Great God gives,

They call Him the Holy Spirit, in me He lives.

He’s like the coconut tree that protects me in every way,

He’s my source of life, comfort, and protection, what can I say?

His fruit quenches my thirst and fills my heart with peace.

His shade gives me comfort, and surrounds me with joyous glee.

His embrace is like a strong tree trunk, where I can lie and take a rest,

In every way there is, He simply is the best.
