Katherine Kotarras is a fictional reality located in the city of Chicago. The book is about a seventeen year old girl named Viviana Ravinovich-Lowe whose life has always been about getting good grades and try to be as perfect as possible because her father expects nothing less. Like  her father she wants to be a engineer and go to Stanford University, but those plans change when her quest to perfection gets derailed beacause her boyfriend Dean Andrews leaks a very private picture of her. Everything starts to Fall apart, her parents find out and so does the whole school. On top of it all her when finds out why her father is been gone for so long.

This book is about how the mistakes we make don't define us completely and about the power that the lies we keep have. I liked how it's a very light and entertaining story and I liked how Vivíanas a character and her bestfriend Sammie don't unimportant things get in the middle of their friendship and that they are always there for eachother. I give this book   4 stars. I recommend this book because it's a good read very entertaining.

Q: Did you feel pressured to send the private picture to your boyfriend at the time?
A: "At first I was not sure but then when he said the app we were using was safe and he couldn't save the picture I thought I could trust him. Now I know I should not have."

Q: How did your parents react to your actions?
A: "They were very disappointed my mom would not even look me in the eyes. My father did not take well either he was very mad, not only had I broken my promise to not date anyone until I graduate, I had done something that ruined my reputation."

Q: Why weren't you honest with Sammie about having met Evan before and liking him?
A: "I didn't want to hurt her feelings she clearly really liked Evan and I promised myself I wouldn't let guys or anything distract me like it did before.I didn't want to like him i just could not resist."

Q: If you didn't want to hurt Sammie why did you kiss Evan that day at the pool?
A: "I don't know what took over me I just went for it and I knew should not have kissed Evan because it would hurt Sammie. I felt so guilty after it happened. I would never want to end my friendship with Sammie much less over a guy, she's always been there for me I shouldn't have betrayed her like that"

Q: How long have you known Sammie?
A: "I've known her since we were in elementary school. I was always really quite but she was the complete opposite she was loud and bold and really funny. She is the best friend I could ever have."

Q: How did Sammie react when you told her you and Evan kissed?Twice
A: "She was mad and really upset about it. She felt betrayed and she had every right to be. I promised her that I didn't have any feelings for Evan and then I still kissed him knowing she liked him. But Sammie is such a good friend that it didn't took us long time to put it behind us. She told me that it was okay that she understood that Evan is not into her and that he likes me and she was not going to get in the way of someone nice and decent like Evan from being with me."

Q: How did you feel after finding out that your father had another family apart from you and your sister and he kept it a secret ?
A: "My father and I were not good terms after my incident with Dean and he left us for months supposedly because he had to go work in Singapore, but when i found out about his secrets family, his wife and kids it just proved how much more of a liar he was and is. He was lying to me and my sister he said he loved us all unconditionally including my mom but he never did we were nothing to him."

Q: Your mom knew about his other family and never told you. How did you react to that?
A: "I was surprised it never crossed my mind, I thought that she couldn't know because she would have divorced my dad a long time ago. Later she told her and my father were never married, that she had only kissed one man and only loved one man and that was him. When they got together he was already married and had a daughter from his first marriage and then then he had me and my sister and know he has 2 kids with his current wife Paige."

Q: Does your sister know about your father?
A: "No she doesn't, although I want her to know the truth she is young to understand. She loves our father she looks at him as if he were a god, but eventually we will have to tell her when she's older she deserves to know."

Q: What lessons have you learned from this and what advice do you give?
"I'd say that the mistakes that you make can't define you at least not completely, learn from your mistakes they shape you into the person you will become. Don't stress about the future just do your best always and see were that takes you. Importance: This quote is important because Viviana realizes that it's time to trust herself again and not be afraid of the future.
