In this book Charles wrote that we should split governments into three parts, the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches. He said that each part would have different powers as to not give to much to one part. The Judicial branch interprets is formed of the courts like the Supreme court. The Legislative branch has the power to draft laws that are proposed to them. The Executive branch contains The President and the Vice President, this branch makes sure the laws are being followed. When put together these branches form our government. This is how our Federal government is run today.
