The Battle of Verdun was one of the longest, most ferocious, and the bloodiest battles in the war, mainly fought in the French city of Verdun. The French successfully protected against the German offensive, ending in heavy amounts of casualties on both sides.

The U.S. Joined the war because of the sinking of the Lusitania that killed 128 people and the interceptions of the Zimmerman Telegram. These event s caused the U.S. to join the war because they were sick of being used.

The Treaty Of Versailles was a peace conference were the Allied nations met at the palace of versailles. There were delegates from 39 national that attend this treaty and the negotiations were made by the "Big three".
