I wonder what other technology source I can pair with student use of AR to keep my students more engaged in improving their reading.

WHAT I LEARNED:

I learned through my case-study project that a program such as Lexia can help during reading intervention and allows students to improve their reading skills. I also learned the about the various limitations that can effect their use and results. My group learned that professional development and student training and intervention during their use also helps produce the best results.

I wonder what technology resource is appropriate for my grade level to keep students practicing on basic facts as a class so that students do not feel so divided like the ones that have to go log on to Jiji.

WHAT I LEARNED:

I learned that my students can work in groups and be exposed to math problems that require communication and collaboration to share the process. This allows students to use technology, collaboration, communication, and creativity to solve a variation of math problems.

I wonder what are some different methods to present my 6th graders with how to type up official papers, letters, research projects.

WHAT I LEARNED:

I learned that my students will benefit more from the source they can access the most and with ease. In my case, we are a google chrome school and using google docs is the most efficient and easiest way for us to develop papers and research projects. This allows me to provide feedback and them to complete assignments and share them with me only once as they continue to edit.
