The French and Indian war, which began in 1756, was caused by the various British and French claims on the Ohio River Valley and the British and French goals to be to primary power in North America. Following the war, British Troops were stationed in colonial towns, taxes were increased from the British Government, and the colonies were denied seats in Parliament, all caused many colonists to feel they were not being treated as English citizens. Many believed autonomous/independent rule would ensure fair and just treatment, as well as reduced British intervention in colonial affairs.

The biggest effect of the French and Indian war was the resulting debt that Britain was left with afterwards. To begin to get rid of this debt the British began taxing the colonies and giving them less freedom by ending salutary neglect. The colonists of course hated this, It encroached on their freedom, and the added taxes made it difficult for many to make a living. eventually all the acts imposed by the British on the Colonies pushed the colonists to revolt

The French and Indian War ended with Britain in massive debt, that it would try to pay off using heavy taxation, and with Britain having control of much more American territory, which it would not let colonists settle in- despite getting more territory to settle in being a primary cause of the war. Both of these actions would anger many American colonists and create resentment towards British rule.

The end of <del>evangelion</del> the French and Indian War brought the Proclamation of 1763 which banned colonists from settling past the Appalachian Mountains as well as huge debt on to Britain who put multiple taxes such as the Currency Act of 1764 onto the American colonies for their involvement in the war. The colonists felt that their reward for winning the war was to settle on new land, but that was taken away from them by Britain. They also felt like they were less-respected subjects of Britain who were not able to represent themselves with their own self-government, influencing rebellion against the country by avoiding taxes and protesting that would stir into the Revolution.

Specifically, increased taxation on colonists, the formation of the Treaty of Paris, and conflict with Native Americans all caused Britain to have a heavier hand in influencing the colonists, some of which helped develop thoughts of revolution by the colonists.

The British ministry increased their authority over their American colonies, increasing taxes for their colonizers to pay this war debt. Control was increased and trade routes were more regulated to collect taxes. This creates conflicts between the colonizers and Britain, leading to the Revolution and the fight for freedom.

At the end of the French-Indian war, Britain gained a large territory for colonist to settle in. they also heavily taxed the colonies and passed multiple laws putting tariffs on certain products. They did this because they had a large war debt but the colonists didn't think this was fair as they had no representation in Parliament. All of these taxations eventually pushed the colonists to declare independence and revolt against England.
