Why was the scarf disappearing and appearing again was it choking her out?

Jo's mum might of gone or been captured by the shadow people and Jo's dad might of been taken too. And pan only knows about it because she has been through it all before and she knows that the shadow people will keep sending things to try and get the "prince" back and the'll only free them if the prince returns. multiverse to get the keys to the cage and So they will have to wait until the weird ball of light appears so they can get out of this universe and go into the multi-verse and get their Gareth back and swap him for the broken baby or the "prince" and then the'll get captured and they brake out because of Jo's cat jasper and go's through, the gets them out and they have to sneak around the shadow people's town and the shadow people fire a ball of light and they hop through the portal and they have forgot to swap the baby and then all of the shadow people invade there house and try to swap the baby but they accept the trade. they do trap them in a shadow cage though one day her friend matt turned up and heard shouting so he runs in and free's them but then all the portal opens up again and the light and the shadow people have a battle in the sky and then they stop it by giving the shadow people light and they stop so all of the shadow and light people go back in their universe and they keep annoying them but jasper and the shadow cat make friends and then every one makes friends.

but one day they all throw a party and they all dance but the light people attack and they blow up the party but then they stop the light people with darkness because they are allergic to darkness

Pan might actually have been one of the shadow people before but some how changed and that's how she knew so much and when she said "i'll tell you later" was just to not let Jo know the truth but Pan never told Jo it and Jo though that was it that all of it she knew and was told.

Pan probably knew about what the flaming changing eyes meant or had no awareness.

when Emma's mum's baby was broken she probably was possessed by the shadow people to get the baby and return it.
