Caitlin told her dad that she wants to go to the mall with Devon. I understand this because sometimes you want to do something you know you can't like she wants to still do things with Devon. Even if you know its not possible you know that you want to do it and if you tell someone they might think that you still believe they are still alive. I know that Caitlin is trying to show her dad that she understands that Devon died and isn't coming back but she doesn't understand that it makes her dad more sad to talk about it. During reading buddies Josh is partnered with Micheal and I wonder if Micheal knows that his cousin killed his mom. Sometimes to kids it doesn't matter to them but micheal missed his mom a lot and Josh and Micheal became friends really fast. When Caitlin was moving a desk to the corner of the room I wonder why her classmates called her weird and said she cracked.
