In the summer of 2004, I learned I was to be a new mother, which filled my heart with absolute joy. As a young woman, I enjoy reading historical romance novels, baking yummy desserts, craft projects,  bike riding, hiking, camping, swimming, rollerblading, and gardening. I also enjoy teaching myself new skills such as professional home painting, DIY repairs and refurbishing projects. I live by two very important mottos "The Key to success is action, and the essential in action is perseverance" -Sun Yat-sen  and "The world is not going to slow down and wait for me." - myself. 
I love a med rare steak, furry animals, and hummingbirds. I enjoyed being a stay at home mother more than any other job that I have done since becoming a mom. In 2017, however life changed dramatically and I put into action a series of steps that would lead the the completion of my list of short term goals for the following 6 years. 
In order from top to bottom and from left to right I will introduce my family:
Isaiah, is now 14, Demetrio is now 16, Jay'D (JD) is now 8, and my baby girl, Akayla is now 7. They are each different personality as night and day, they are my number 1 motivation, and most importantly, they bring immense joy to my life. Demetrio is very artistic and taught himself to play the Cello, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, and keyboard. He writes lyrics, poems, and loves to draw. He also enjoys MMA, Jujitsu, and skateboarding and is an A-B student. Isaiah is a very energetic and independent young man who loves boxing, and skateboarding. He won both of his championship boxing matches prior to the onset of seizures, which forced him to stop. JD is developing his artistic talents which include, dancing and singing. He is also learning to skateboard like his older bothers and does exceptionally well in school. Akayla is a through and through "Girly-Girl". She loves make-up, dress-up clothes, and my high heels. I often call her my "Social Butterfly" due to her never ending ability to make friends no matter where we are. She is full of "Sassitude" yet has a heart of gold! So I identified my desired end result. I then worked my way backwards writing down what would need to happen in order to make that happen, continuing this pattern till came to, what was at the time, my current situation. By the time I was done my list consisted of 6 main goals and many steps between each one which would allow me to complete each goal in order. As of today I have completed 4 of my 6 goals which include, building my credit, having a new home built, returning to college, completing my associates degree (I completed 2), and this semester is the beginning of my 5th goal of obtaining my BA degree in secondary education with a Major in Social Studies.
