This theme is very important to me because I was raised in a town full of diversity, a town where many of my friend's parents had immigrated to the United States from all parts of the world. In fact, my family members of mine also emigrated from their home countries for better opportunities. It's very common to have diverse classrooms nowadays so essentially, having books that offer students knowledge and comfort can be highly beneficial. A couple of texts were recommended to me by a family friend who is a first-grade teacher and a couple of others were based on books I had previously encountered and enjoyed.
