Taking the time to find out what they like, bits about their families, stories from home and their lives help me to see them as whole people. One area that I feel I can improve is through circles. I have not done circle as much as I should this year due to some silly technical things as a team. It felt hard to really have time to dig in and think. I have done a better job with circles this semester and I do see the positive impact of this work. I plan to continue this work next year and do a better job of setting my norms and expectations around circle early on in the year. I attended the PD in CO Springs on Friday and I really appreciated the presentation on MTSS.
