Present over perfect - I'm a continually recovering perfectionist. :) I read this book several years ago after experiencing a lot of grief and it really changed my perspective and continually challenges me to think about being present vs. the hustle of success/performance.


AND Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. This text really helped me put into words what I was seeing and experience in teaching. And - challenged/motivated me to see how to work alongside others to change systems with audacious hope!
