I chose this picture because this myth originates in mexico is often depicted as a creature that can stand on its hind legs, with sharp teeth and sometimes spikes along its back but here in the US we think of it as a "rabid" Skinny dog so what im getting at here is that the same myths can be described or changed in different parts of the world and i wanna know why

I want to learn more about different types of mythology and specifically the original ones before they were changed.

There are a lot of myths that got changed overtime or have a lot of different versions of the same story, so most people only know the most recent versions. It would just be interesting to know how much they have changed from the beginning.

The only Mythology I have ever learned about was Greek Mythology. I want to be able to talk to friends and family about some myths and explain to them what they are and how they became something.

I would like to be able to take away important messages from myths and folklore that we read in this class. Mostly for my own enjoyment. I would also like to get a look into mythology as I do not know much, only bits and pieces.
