For Matthew and Jane, it appears that they received some over all recessive genes, but others were dominant as well. They could have been a mix as well, but for sake of argument, we'll say that they are blonde. I also think they both must have had blue eyes or green eyes, therefore they have that recessive trait which was passed on to Samantha. I know, from being a twin that fraternal means that two separate sperm fertilized two individual eggs. Identical twins occur when one egg splits into two after being fertilized. As for his wish, I don't think there's much of a chance for curly hair, just because neither he nor Alyssa have curly hair. This is just a guess, if we're being honest, but we don't think it is possible.
