It came out of the night and invaded the space
It took places opposite each-other
Silence fell on the room again
A minuet passed
There came a little gnawing sound from under the floor
Then it rolled slowly over and faced the wall and lay silent
They shuffled the cards noisily and delt them

It was as if someone had carried him away. Not knowing what's making noises can have you shaking nervously. As the silence grew quieter, you could hear the walls thumping louder and louder.  It can be horrific having to hold yourself together in a situation like that

 He picked the lock with such ease. He came out at night and i thought he would never come for my house. He knocked stuff down in the living room. Then there was a sudden silence. The man not knowing anyone i was home yelled "why, why do i keep doing this? Only if i would've went to college and didn't hang with the wrong group i could've been a scholar right now. Who cares now. I already killed three people and i cant believe i liked it. I'm on the run so i have no choice." I sat and listened, I peeped through the the closet and for a moment he continued to stare at the ceiling. I hid in the corner of my closet. At first i was gonna talk to him but when he said he killed three people i became even more frightened then i already was. The silence fell on the room. A minute passed and them another. I didn't know if he left yet and i was to scared to look so i reached up and took my coat off the hanger, got comfortable in my closet, went to sleep and stayed quiet.
