When I was in sixth and seventh grade I was in two musicals, Bye Bye Birdie and Oklahoma. I was also going to acting camp during this time. Even though I no longer act I still have very fond memories and still enjoy going to the theater to watching plays. Prior to my acting days, when I was in third grade I did competitive dance for two years; mainly hip hop. However as I got older I had less time to take dance classes so I had to stop, but I try to keep my skills up to date playing Just Dance on the Wii with my friends. When it comes to painting and drawing I have been doing that even since I could remember. I took my first class in sixth grade, then moved to advance art by eighth grade being in an art gallery. I no longer take classes but when I get a chance to do some kind of art project I take it. Lastly there is singing, I have taken choir lesson from first grade to tenth grade. I played soccer for two years, my positions were midfield one year and goalie another. I truly loved playing soccer but my parents said I needed to focus on one or two sports so I decide to stop playing soccer. I was also on the swim team for a year but it didn't last that long. I also played lacrosse my freshman and sophomore year. My positions were goalie, midfield, and attacker. I loved playing lacrosse however with my injures I had to stop playing. Now the two sports that chose to focus on were volleyball and basketball. Basketball was really big in my family because of my dad, we would watch March Madness ever since I was little filling out brackets with who we believed would win. My positions in basketball depended on the team usually I was a shooting guard or point guard since I wasn't that tall, but every once in a while my coach would put me as post for fun. I played in the SMYBB league for four years winning the championships twice and going undefeated once. I also played travel basketball for the Elite Dynasty for five years doing local tournaments as well as tournaments in Vegas. I played for Gamepoint for one year and in middle school was on varsity for all three years. I played my freshman year on the JV team but got injured before my sophomore year tryouts. Volleyball was the second sport I choose to focus on, my positions included defensive specialist (DS) or libro. I played on my middle school team two years on JV and one year on varsity. I had so much fun that I decided to continue in high school. These places include Jamaica where I jumped of waterfalls and rope jumping. The Cayman Islands I swam with wild stingrays and dolphins. I went to Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas where my family stayed at all inclusives. I also went to Uxmal where we climbed the ancient pyramids. This year I was supposed to travel to Peru however because of Covid my missions trip got canceled.   • Pamela H, is my mom who is very caring and kind. She works as an Occupational Therapist at Stein Education. She grew up in Missouri on a farm but moved out to California after college for work. I tell everything to my mom because we are pretty close. My mother is very strong and takes care of the whole family always trying to do the right thing. I couldn't imagine how we would have survived without her.
  • Steven H, is my dad who is funny and tough. He use to work for the red light cameras company whoever after his accident he stopped working for three years. Now he current works in the tech department for the Escondido school district. He has gone through many surgeries  removing about seven disks from his spine and was diagnosed with  cancer last year. Thankfully the cancer was enclosed in his kidney and didn't spread, so now he has one kidney.
  • Breanna H, is my older sister who is my best friend and my safe haven. I go to her for all my problems and I have never kept a secret from her in my life. She also struggled with many with many health issues like Plantar fasciitis, Tendinitis, and bone misplacement in bone of her feet. She also had stomach issues that caused her stomach to swell, she would feel nauseous, and be hunched over in pain as if someone was stabbing her every time she ate any piece of food. For along time she went many doctors and specialists telling her that she was crazy and it was all in her head. However after going to the right doctor she was diagnosed with IBS. IBS does have a cure or medicine to get rid of it but just knowing what she has brought her peace of mind. She is now attending NAU to become a PT.
  • Katrina Manning, is my other older sister, well technically she is my half sister. We never really cared that we had different mothers. My sister was born way before me so we grew up in very different environments. When her mother and our dad got a divorce they had shared custody. However, her mother would constantly be moving her making it difficult for our dad to find her. They didn't have a relationship for a long time until she was high school. They met up every Thursdays for breakfast and just until she was finally old enough to make her own decisions. Now she is happily married to Ryan Manning and has three wonderful kids, two girls and one boy. Their names are Brooklyn, Emerson, and Logan, which makes me an Aunt.

Growing up I was always really close with my sisters. If I were to describe my personality I would say humorous and clumsy. I love to crack jokes all the time and making people smile makes me feel so happy and bright. I am also very clumsy when I was younger I fell off of play structures broke my elbow roller skating and got multiple concussions playing flag football and basketball. When my dad was in the hospital for weeks and PT to get him to walk again I always tried to help out. Even though I was pretty young at the time I did the laundry, cooked dinner, took care of someone if they were sick, changed my dads gauze, and worked small jobs to help my family. These small jobs included walking peoples dogs and babysitting. Now days I am grateful to have assisted my mom in the care for my dad which I currently still do because it made me realize I love the healthcare field of work.
