The rhythm and the harmony of the song are the main thing that caught my attention.

The setting/environment that this playlist will be for is for anytime that involves anything that it like a weekend, a time of just having fun. The way that you pick this type of music is you look at beats and rhythm and the transitions throughout the song and find similarities but you also want a variety between songs to capture a larger group of a audience. One song that would work for this playlist is "Live it up for the weekend" By Brantley Gilbert. the reason that this song fits this playlist is because it has an upper level tone and beat to it that is easy to follow and people can relate to. Another song that fits this playlist is "Vacation" by Thomas Rhett. This song fit this playlist because the beat is similar but there are different instruments included hat add to the beat and change things up. It also keeps the concept of just having fun with life and not worrying about anything. We know the emotions/ideas/feelings the musician was trying to express by listening to the Utica elements that they put into the song and also by determining what the song really means and what they were trying to say and express.

The strengths of my performing are being able to memorize the music that I am playing and my weaknesses is being able to read the music. Based on the first practice period of my new piece the structure and context of musical works informs the musical performance because the music goes long with the lyrics and they both deliver the same message but through different methods and it gets the audience/listeners involved. Performers improve the quality or their performance by constantly practicing and by having random people just listen to them play that way they can get rid of their stage fright. the steps that I can take to improve the performance are by working on learning more of the piece and being able to play it more fluently without and errors.

The way that I begin to make creative decisions is by first deciding what genre of music I want to create.
