Share Cropping does have it's benefits.Unlike slavery, they don't have a choice. The slaves are told to do something, they can't argue. Share Cropping is different. The farmer will let the tenant use his land for planting, growing, and harvesting crops. But, there is a price for that land.

Slavery

Again, Slavery is a whole lot different than Share Cropping. Slaves could be mostly used for the farmers work. The farmer would somehow manage to get that slave (or slaves) , they will use them for the planting, growing, and harvesting part of being a farmer. Or, the farmer could also use those slaves for all the inside jobs, after they finished the farming. They might have to clean the house, do the dishes, wash the clothes, and so forth.

The Share Croppers are farming, possibly because they have to. Say they don't have enough money for their own land, that's why they are renting the farmer's land. And the Share Croppers children, will also being doing the work, without a choice just like the slaves.
