On the 20th of may we went to Bologna on a school trip.

We arrived at about 10 am in the National Freedom Museum. That was my favorite part of the trip because we saw all the vehicles and the weapons that the soldiers used in the Second World War and there was also a simulation of a bombing and it was very immersive and shocking because you could feel the room shaking and the noises outside.

Once we finished the museum tour we went to take a guided tour of the Maggiore square there we saw some important monuments like the Nettuno’s fountain then we went to the Archiginnasio. I didn't like that part of the trip so much because we had some headphones that were very uncomfortable. After that we returned home with the school’s bus.

On the 20th of May my class and I went on a school trip to Boulogne.

That morning I woke up at 6.oo because we had to be at school at 6.45 and I didn't wanted to be late..

During the journey to Boulogne we all listened to music and I tried to sleep a bit.

After an hour we finally got to our destination, the first thing we visited was the "Museo Memoriale della Libertà". We saw old cars and a lot of war vehicles, such as tanks and planes. We also saw an old train that used to transport jews people to concentration camps. I really liked the tank and the amphibious vehicle (it was my favourite old mean of transport out of all of the others), but the thing that I liked the most was when we visited some rooms that recreated what happed during the Second World War and, short after, we also watched a video about it which was really interesting!

After lunch we went to the centre of the city and we ate an ice-cream while we waited for the guide to arrive.

Once the guide arrived she showed us the church of Sant Petronio and the Nettuno's square. We also saw the two leaning towers of Boulogne: the Gariserda tower and the Asinelli tower. Finally she brought us to an old university. By the time the tour ended my legs were hurting a lot and I couldn't wait to go home and rest a bit.

Unfortunately when some of my friends and I started walking back to the bus with one of our teachers, my friend Denisa fell on the ground and she hit her leg breaking it. Other than that, the trip was great fun and I learned a lot of new things!

We got home at 6:00 p.m. and as soon as I got home I went to bed because of how tired I was.

Last Monday I went to Bolougne for a school trip. I went there with the third classes of my institute and a third class of the school in Ranchio. At 7 a.m. we left school by bus and the journey took two hours. At 9 a.m. we arrived to a museum that calls "Museo Memoriale della Libertà". There we saw a lot of old cars that people used in the Second World War. It was very exciting! Then we saw a simulation of the war and the sounds were very realistic! My friends and I were very scared! After that we had a short break and we saw a video recorded by a man Who filmed some scenes during the war. It was a really greate video that made me think a lot. We saw a old train that was used to take jews to concentration camps. At 12 we had lunch and then we went to the square of Bolougne by bus. When we arrived we ate an ice- cream. In the afternoon we had a guided tour and we saw some monuments of the city of Bolougne, like the two donkey towers and the Basilica of San Petronio. The basilica was my favorite place of the trip, because we saw some beautiful things that made me very curious there. I really liked it. Then we went back home by bus and we all listened to music during the journey.

I had a lot of fun in that trip!
