FamilySearch Center

The FamilySearch Center is open to the community as well as Church members to provide resources to assist you in the research and study of your genealogy and family history. In addition to providing one-on-one assistance, we have 5 computers which allow free access to many subscription services as well as billions of records in the Salt Lake Family History Library. Also we hold "topic-specific" training classes on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.

Scheduling Stake Presidency Temple Recommend Interviews

After the interview with the Bishopric, individuals should schedule an appointment with the Stake Presidency using the online temple recommend interview scheduler (https://bartlesvillestake.org/temple-recommends). Stake Temple recommends will occur on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the Month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in Bartlesville and on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month in Ponca City. A virtual option is available if there are no appointments available in your preferred location.

Addiction Recovery Program

Weekly meetings assist individuals and families who desire to overcome addictive behaviors. The group meets Sundays at 7pm in the Stake Council Room and on Zoom. Anyone who is interested is invited to join. For more information contact Elder or Sister Garrett click the link below.

Wireless Network in Church Buildings

The Liahona wifi network can be accessed using the password “alma3738”.

In addition to the password, users will be asked to accept the Terms of Use (that emphasize the purposes of Church-provided internet access) before gaining network access. Users need to enter the password only once in their device settings, but the Terms of Use must be accepted once each day a user accesses the network. This agreement helps manage available bandwidth by reminding users of the network’s intended purpose and by preventing unintentional use by devices performing automatic functions (such as updates) when connected to wifi upon entry to a Church building.

Meetinghouse internet is provided to enhance gospel learning and instruction, support Church administrative functions, and further the purposes of the Church.

That website enables units to publicize Sunday worship services and ward activities online so that members can more easily invite others to join them. People who are searching online for local activities can also find a ward’s activities and RSVP. You can publish to it by creating an event on the ward calendar and marking it as public. You can also share activities from it as social media posts.

The Primary is collecting school supplies for the Washington County School Supply Drive to help kids in our area get the school supplies they need for the 2025-2026 school year.

For the month of July and August, we've been asked to collect 24-count boxes of Crayola crayons. Please purchase the Crayola brand. For price reference, Walmart has them for $1.44, Dollar Tree has them for $1.25 and I've been told Staples has them on sale right now for .50 cents. Last year they distributed over 2,600 boxes of crayons to students in Washington County. Pretty incredible!

Also, Washington County School Supply Drive will hold the Pack the Backbacks event at St. Lukes Episcopal Church on July 30-August 1. You and your family can now sign up for a 2 hour shift to serve as packers. This is a great service opportunity for families, especially for children in Senior primary (Junior Primary kids too, but may need an adult's help) and youth to be apart of serving other children and youth in need. I'll include a link to their sign ups below.
