Overall, the experience was fantastic! We teaching partners agree that it could have been different if we weren't partners or if our location had been elsewhere.

Post Family Farm was an amazing business partner, the farm was a great location, the students were great kids. We really had a dream team.

The Farm employees were so laid back and friendly. They all showed up to our final presentation, which was amazing and kind.

We are a team of 7 students, all of whom are respectful, friendly, and kind. Students were intrigued by the fact that the farm appreciates upcycling and improving customer experiences from year to year. Looking so foward to working together this week!

Target #2 (Bullseye 2.0): The second target is made out of wooden posts dug into the ground and a metal target bolted to the top of it with a target painted on it.

The students liked the idea of the apples making different sounds when hitting the wood on the first target and hitting the metal on the second target.

"We learned a lot about the farm. They actually reuse a lot of things on the farm, too."

What surprised you? The students practiced instant teamwork and responsibility, deciding who would work on which part of their final project.

What would you do differently? We discussed as a team how the project would look different if we had more time together but that since we are only together for this one week, our project had to fit within that timeframe.

We leaders were surprised by students creativity and the energy they brought to the Valuable Waste activity! What a fun way to gather insight into our project!

After the Valuable Waste protocol, there was a lot of nature left on the picnic tables that left us wishing we were provided with a small broom and dustpan to make it easier to return the nature to the nature!

What surprised you? Students were very creative when looking at the objects and coming up with target ideas.

What surprised you? There wasn't a single debate about which solutions to vote for or which two became the final choices.

What would you do differently next time? Provide more markers, scissors, tape, and glue.

What surprised you? Students were ready and willing to participate in the final presentation. They seemed naturally drawn toward parts of the presentation that alligned with their personality and gifts, whether holding posters, speaking, or showing off the prototypes.

What would you do differently next time? Honestly, nothing in this stage. Students took the lead. They chose what to say and how to say it, they chose what to show and how to show it. The final presentation was perfect in this sense!

After the final presentations, students reflected on their experience by discussing glows (successes) and grows (areas for improvement). This gave them an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and think about ways to continue growing. To conclude camp week, each student received a personalized trophy recognizing a unique strength or contribution they brought to the team. These awards celebrated the important role each student played throughout the week.
