The rise of greenhouse gas emissions are very important to society because the more that is emitted from burning fossil fuels is warming our earth because the atmosphere keeps these gases in, while the gases absorb the heat of the sun. It's important that we reduce these statistics so we can reduce the earth's temperature and stop global warming

"What can governments, especially first world countries, do to reduce the use of industrials (automobiles, deforestation, mining, etc) to minimize the greenhouse gas emissions?"

The two possible views on this could be governments could tax more on big corporations of those emitting more green house gases, or they could also replace renewable energy sources with electric or solar. I think that governments should replace the renewable energy sources with clean energy like electric and solar.

The Clean Air Act requires the Environmental Protection Agency to work with states in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which includes carbon dioxide and methane. This is a federal law which was enacted in 1963 and establishes federal standards for mobile sources of air pollution, their fuels, and for sources of 187 different hazardous air pollutants. It establishes a cap-and-trade program for the emissions that cause acid rain. It establishes a comprehensive permit system for all major sources of air pollution.

Democrats believe that reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a positive impact for our climate to stop global warming and climate change. Typically people with these views are pro solar, biofuel, nuclear, and wind power, which reduce the greenhouse gas emissions.
