The House is Waking Up

The story starts by the house waking everyone up to start the day. But there is nobody that lives in the house. Than the house makes breakfast for everyone and makes sure everyone is up and knows what day it is. Then at 8 it sends everyone to work and school.

The House is getting ready

Once the house thinks that everyone has left it starts cleaning the kitchen after breakfast. Every room in the house starts to clean itself and robot mice live in the walls. There are sprinklers in the garden that go off. The house is peaceful but quivers at each sound.

A Dog goes in the House

A dog showed up on the front porch. The front door regonized the dog on the porch and let the dog in. Once the dog entered the house he ran upstairs and he smelled pancakes the house was making for the dog. The dog wiggled its tail, spun frenzy, and died. It layed in the parlor for an houe.

The Table with Playing Cards

The dog was gone and the cellar glowed with a whirl of sparks that leaped up the chimney. Then at Two thirty-five, there were tables on the patio that popped up. The table came up with playing cards lying on the table and music played. But the cards weren't touched and at four o'clock the tables folded back up.

The Nursery

The nursery walls glowed. The walls of the nursery were filled with colorful animals. There were yellow giraffes, blue lions, pink antelopes, and lilac panthers. The walls were glass and locked out upon color and fantasy. There were hidden clocks through well-oiled sprockets and the wall lived. The door of the nursery was woven to resemble a crisp, cereal meadow. There was a sound like a delicate red tissue wavered among the sharp aroma of animal spoors.

Bed Time at the House

At five o'clock, the bathtub filled with hot water. After that dinner dishes were manipulated like magic tricks. Nine o'clock the beds in the house warmed their hidden circuits, for the night was cool in the house. The house asked Mrs. McClellan what poem she wanted to read but there was no response so it read a random poem.

How Fire Began

At ten o'clock the house began to die. The wind blew and a tree fell into the house and it crashed into the kitchen window. The tree landed on the stove and the room was on fire all of a sudden. The house screamed fire and the house lights flashed, water pumps shot water from the ceilings.

The House on Fire

The house tried to save itself from the fire. The house's doors sprang tightly shut, but the windows were broken by the heat and the wind blew in the house spreading the fire through the house. The fire went up the stairs and it went in the beds. The fire changed the color of the drapes.

The fire is still there

The fire backed off, but the fire was clever it had set flames outside. It went up through the attic and where the pumps are. The pumps in the attic were shattered on the beams. The fire raced back downstairs into every closet and felt every piece of clothes.

After the Fire

The fire burst the house and in the kitchen right before the rain of fire. Then the attic crashed into the kitchen and parlor. Everything crashing on top of one another from on level untop of another level. Then after a while there was smoke and silence. A big cloud of smoke piled on top of the burned house. The next morning all you heard from the house is the date over and over.
