Now, years later, they were in The Golden State Warriors Arena. The crowd was as loud as a dog barking. They were crazy. They wanted their side to win so bad. Jakai could feel his heart pumping so fast like a Jaguar he has never had so much pressure. The crowd roared so loud Jakai could feel it in his chest. Their team, the Warriors, wasn’t expected to make it this far. But here they were, facing the Rockets in the semifinals.

The game just started everything is turning bad Jakai is missing shots they are not getting on defense Kyle can't make a three. The Rockets scored again and again. Jakai felt the pressure rising. Jakai and Kyle were the best players on the team, and everyone knew it—including the Rockets, who double-teamed him every time he touched the ball. Kyle could see Jakai struggling. He felt the pressure too, but tried to stay upbeat, making jokes and keeping the team’s spirits high.

Halftime came, and the Warriors were down by ten. In the locker room, Jakai was down on himself. He knew what he had to do but he couldn't do it. Sitting quietly like a lion waiting for its prey. He wasn't just doing this for himself, he was doing it for where he came from.

 head in his hands. Jakai was sorrowful as an animal in captivity. He looked up at his friend and knew that he was not giving up. He saw Kyle and knew that he is going to give them a chance.. He nodded. If they were going to win, they’d have to work together and make no mistakes.

The second half was a battle. Every shot was tough, every pass had to be perfect. Kyle stepped up, scoring points and drawing defenders away from Jakai. The whole team worked as one. The crowd went wild as the Warriors closed the gap, point by point. With just seconds left, Jakai hit a three-pointer to tie the game. The buzzer sounded. Overtime.

The arena was electric. Jakai was hyped about cutting the lead. He was hungry to win this game. No cap Jakai heart felt like a speaker when it was playing music.

. The Rockets scored first, but the Warriors didn’t give up. Kyle made a key steal, then passed the ball to Jakai. With only a few seconds left, Jakai dribbled past one defender, then another. He jumped, released the ball, and watched as it arced through the air. The buzzer sounded as the ball swished through the net.

The crowd exploded. The whole crowd of the Warriors and the team scrambled to the court to pick up Jakai and Kyle everybody is screaming

Kyle threw his arms around the jakai like a snake squeezing their prey. Both of them, amazed and laughing, couldn't believe they need to win one more game. 

They had done it—they were going to the championship to face GTX. Jakai felt relief, excitement, and pride. All the hard work paid off all the times they went to the gym practice playing outside in the rain. They did it and they won the middle school varsity championship.
