Aquesta meravellosa torre àrab va ser construÏda en diferents moments i per distints autors.

La Torre del Oro és una torre defensiva almohade del segle XIII i es troba a Sevilla.

Es va contruir per protegir el port fluvial.

Està composta per 3 cossos.

El seu nom és degut al color daurat que reflexen els materials en que està feta i que són, morter de calç i palla premsada.
