Forest School - Wednesday AM

Children will need to wear their outdoor kit and bring in waterproofs.


PE -

Children will need their PE kit in school on a Thursday and can take it home each week (Friday) if they choose to.  This half-term the children will have dance taught by House Of Dance every Thursday.

Every other week maths will be set on Mathletics and TTRS.

Spelling - spellings are set on a Friday on Spelling Shed .  There will be a quiz of these spellings in school the following Friday.  It is important children know the meaning of the words they are spelling so it would be helpful to learn the meaning at the same time.

Maths - Maths homework is set on a Friday on Mathletics and the children are expected to have completed this work by the following Friday.  TTRS will also help children to become fluent in their times tables.

Reading - Reading books and diaries are sent home every night and are needed in school every day.  The children must record their reading at least 4 times a week, and an adult must write in the record too.  It is really important that you continue to be involved in your child's reading.

Mystery book - If the children record a minimum of 4 reads at home with a grown-up then they will be entered into our 'Mystery Book Raffle'. Every Friday a new mystery book will be taken home for the week and then returned the next week.
