I reckon going on a picnic would be the best choice.

Because:
- enhance the bond among family members: prepare the meal and other equipment together
- help children & parents enjoy nature and stay away from smartphones or other gadgets for a while: picnic site - parks, forest,... enjoy the idle time on a nice weather day (no guy gonna go on picnic on a gloomy day)
- avoid too many pp (unlike cinema or shopping center)

About the other options:
- Going to the cinema: little interaction with each other, just glue their eyes on the screen
- Going shopping: not easy to handle the children (especially the very small ones), can't freely go here and there, kind of boring in some way (in my opinion)

Conclusion: Anyway, if I have to choose among these three options like that family, I would choose to go on a picnic.

1. Going on a picnic is a good idea for family
2. Because:
- save money: to prepare for a picnic, ppl just can make their own food, bring their own stuff. Compared with wasting money on some high-standard restaurants or some luxury places, going on a picnic does not require lots of money. Thus, it's so economical.
- improve mental health: the fresh air does wonders for ppl mental health. Eg: in the Covid 19 period, ppl tend to confront w many difficulties. Spending time outside facilitate ppl to reduce anxiety and stress, lift their mood up and reinforce their brains.
- connect family: the rest time is the best for focusing on each other, listening to others, and enjoying the moment together
3. Rebuttal: Going to the cinema can't allow members in the family to have time to talk and discuss with each other. On the other hand, going shopping is highly likely wasting money

From my point of view, a cinema would be the best choice for the whole family in a day off. Firstly, these days, it has becoming easier to buy tickets online so we can make reservations. With the help of the Internet, many online services have emerged and benefit costumers with its convenience. If parents want to make sure that their family will get the best seats for the whole family, they can book the seats rather than go to the cinema and buy those tickets just in time for the starting. Secondly, there're a wide range of films family to enjoy, especially during the latter part of the year, so everyone can enjoy themselves. For example, these days the film 'Spider Man: No Way Home' is on cinema. Families can have a good time with each other and enjoy the new series of Spider Man. Finally, it's a good opportunity for kids to learn the proper manners when socialising. Going to the cinema means you're using public service, and we have to avoid being impolite to other customers in the same room. We may be bothered by others' bad behaviors such as using the phone during films, chatting or not keeping their own hygiene.
On the other hand, going on a picnic means you have to prepare a lot of stuff before you start your journey within only one day and sometimes choosing the place is also a difficulty. What's more, going shopping is not so suitable for children and some money can be saved up for necessity rather than spend a day off and bring more things back home.
After all, watching films at the cinema is a good idea for a family on a day off.

From my point of view, going on a picnic is the most ideal selection for family fathering among three options
- Enable parents and children to be closer to nature:
+ Picnics often take place outdoors like in the garden, in the park, by the seaside -> chance to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and surrounding nature.
+ Eg: Going picnic by the seaside: feel the warmth of sunlight dancing on the skin, hear the sound of sea waves, feel the breeze from the ocean.
- Inexpensive
+ do not have to spend a fortune on picnic sites, even free of charge
+ only need to prepare home-cooked food -> much cheaper than eating out in a restaurant
- Bonding family relationship

Tet is coming so many families are planning to have a day off together. Among three options: going on a picnic, going to the cinema and going shopping. I consider going shopping as the best choice, because of some reasons below:
Firstly, Vietnamese people regard buying new things at Tet as bringing luck for themselves. Everyone tends to buy what's missing to prepare for a full and prosperous new year. If the memories serve me correctly, when I was a child, I often went shopping with my family near Tet. I was really into being bought new clothes. In spite of the fact that I could buy them every time in a year, with children it is something which is very special.
Secondly, going shopping is also a chance for each family member to cement their relationship. The new items that family members buy for each other are obviously meaningful. For instance, they show the parent's care for their children.
I think going to a picnic is also a good choice but you know, the covid epidemic is currently serious so many families are still concerned about the health of the each other
I don't opt for going to the cinema because watching movies may not be the hobby of adults, it's more suitable for youngsters.
In short, going shopping would be the best option.

I would choose to go camping because od some reasons:
1, Cheaper and cheerful

Family camping can be less expensive than other forms if planned out accordingly

Camping food options can be planned, prepared ahead of time, and healthy. => cheaper than eating out in a restaurant
Camping sites can be reserved for affordable prices – often on any budget.

Kids can play outdoors, make friends.... you may as parents may have more time for yourself

2, Strengthens Family Bonds
Spend time together => stay away from electronic devices
E.g: have a barbecue => new experience with some families living in apartments

From my perspective, opting for going shopping would be the ideal choice for a family rather than the other ones.

The first reason is that it would be greatly time-saving. This could be explained because of not having to take much time to plan schedules or other stuff including preparing food, worrying about weather and destination. Thus, it is effortlessly to come to the shopping mall or stores and comfortably trying clothes and stuff

Secondly, it is a great chance for families to have a great time together. Specifically, purchasing groceries is one of the common hobbies of the majority of individuals on account of it can boost the moods and stay physically active. Additionally, in this case, the members among family can also express their cherish to each other by choosing presents such as cosmetics or outfit to the beloved ones >< concerning whether it suits their preferences or not. What’s more, the more the merrier. It would be a great way for people to blow of steams and have fun together during doing the shopping

X On the other hand, I would contend that going for a picnic is also a good option but i consider it quitr time-wasting to prepare various stuffs before the trip namely foods, tents and might be interfered by bad weather condition

I think the best option for a family gathering is going on a picnic.

The biggest benefit of this is that it will be a great opportunity for family bonding. Staying involved with your family and friends can help develop stronger bonds and foster warmth, protection, and love. Especially for children, it’s a valuable chance for them to connect with their parents, when they can eat and play comfortably with their parents.

The second reason is that going for a picnic is also good for health, both mental and physical. It would give each family members some time off from work and study. The fresh air from natural environment like in a park could help ppl release stress from the hectic life, which is really good for mental health. In addition, the sunlight is also a good substance for the bones because it provides lots of vitamin D.

In contrast, going to a cinema seems to be not appealing to me. Given the fact that family members would only pay attention to the movies and clothes, they would have less time to talk and share things together than going on a picnic. So, I prefer going on a picnic rather than the two other ones.

I think having a picnic in the weekend with family is the best choice since we can have more time for socialising bw members, get close to nature, as well as it's nearly free. Firstly, family will together plan and prepare for food and place to come.

I think going on a picnic is the best option for the family because this can be a golden opportunity for all family members to spend time together.
