         <title>The Trojan War</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Reason for the War: Trojan Prince Paris kidnapped Queen Helen of Sparta. Another theory is that there was an argument between Athena, Aphrodite, and Hera over who was the “fairest”. Paris chose Aphrodite and Athena and Hera plotted against Troy.<br>Major Parties Involved: Troy and Mycenaean (Greek)<br>The Trojan Horse Explained: Greek soldiers hid inside a large wooden horse disguised as an offering to the goddess Athena that was let into the walls of the kingdom of Troy. The Greeks then came out of the horse and attacked. <br>Outcome of the War: The Greeks defeated the nation of Troy <br>Great Heroes of the War: Achilles, a warrior of the Greek army.
