Effect and solution of air pollution in cities
OUTLINE:
1. What is air polllution? : Air pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and the planet as a whole.
2. causes of air pollution:
- the exhaust from factories and industries
- combustion from industry
- transportation emissions
- agriculture activities
- household activities
3. effects of air pollution:
- Acid rain: when air pollution specially sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides, are released into sky through fossil fuel burning, it creates acid rain.
- Human respiratory and heart concerns: air pollution is known to cause irritation in eyes, lungs, nose and throat. when continually exposed to air pollution, humans become at higher risk for cardiovascular disease .
- sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ... make leaves are burnt and death.
4. solutions :
- using clean energy like solar, wind energy instead of oil, coal,...
- be mindful of energy consumption
- recycle
- plant trees and flowers to produce oxygen
