I had only graduated high school a year earlier and I knew the longer I waited to go back to school, the less likely I would be to go back at all. So I jumped head first into any program I could at Augusta Tech. I ultimately ended up in paralegal studies, less than one year away from graduating, and I left. I did what was easy and what I felt like, at the time, would be best for me and my daughter. Even after researching school programs and careers and doing volunteer work, it can still be difficult to choose a major. Choosing a major can outline your whole life, which is overwhelming and scary. Like others in the achievement state, I've spent some time researching my major and what my ultimate goal will be; I'm aware of the pros and cons and the difficulty of my commitment. However, I'm only following my passion which has made this journey a million times less miserable.
