2. Pass out the First Write sheet and ask students to draw or write a list of words that connect with the topic.
3. Have students pair up, sit knee-to-knee and eye-to-eye, and share their First Writes.
4. . Introduce the book If You Decide to Go to the Moon by Faith McNulty.
5. Show students how to use the Crossword Puzzles tool. Work together to solve the puzzle. have the students pick 5-8 words.
6. Once partners have chosen their words, give them the Crossword Planning Sheet. Partners are to write their words and clues on the planning page. Clues can be definitions or fill-in-the-blank sentences. 
7.
