         <title>Marie Curie (1867-1934)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>She was the first <strong>woman</strong> to win a Nobel Prize. In 1903, she shared the Nobel Prize for Physics with French physicist Henri Becquerel and her husband, Pierre Curie, for their work on radioactivity. Her name was initially left off the winners’ list but Pierre insisted she be included.<br>Becquerel inspired the Curies to investigate radioactivity after its discovery in 1896. They examined a mineral called pitchblende and eventually found two radioactive elements – <strong>radium</strong> and <strong>polonium</strong>. Curie named polonium after her home country, <strong>Poland</strong>. <br>In 1911, a few years after her husband’s death, she was awarded the Chemistry Prize – becoming the first <strong>person</strong> to win two Nobels.<br>She died in 1934 from leukaemia, believed to have been caused by exposure to radiation from her research.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Oprah Winfrey was born in the rural town of Kosciusko, Mississippi, on January 29, 1954. In 1976, Winfrey moved to Baltimore, where she hosted a hit television chat show, <em>People Are Talking</em>. Afterward, she was recruited by a Chicago TV station to host her own morning show. She later became the host of her own, wildly popular program, <em>The Oprah Winfrey Show</em>, which aired for 25 seasons, from 1986 to 2011.          <title>Margaret Heafield Hamilton (born Heafield on August 17, 1936) is an American computer scientist, systems engineer, and business owner. She was Director of the Software Engineering Division of the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory, which developed on-board flight software for the Apollo space program. In 1986, she became the founder and CEO of Hamilton Technologies, Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The company was developed around the Universal Systems Language based on her paradigm of Development Before the Fact (DBTF) for systems and software design.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Amelia Mary Earhart (born July 24, 1897; disappeared July 2, 1937) was an American aviation pioneer and author. Earhart Was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Sher received. Distinguished Flying Cross For this accomplishment. Sheset many other records, wrote best-selling books about her flying experience instrumental  in the information of The Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots. In 1935, Earhart became a visiting faculty member at Purdue University as an advisor to aeronautical engineering and a career counselor to women students. She was also a member of the National Woman's Party and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment.</div><div>During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937 in a Purdue-funded Lockheed Model 10-E Electra, Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island. Her story is surrounded by mysteries, but it is known that she did not flee from a fight, she played capoeira, she knew how to handle guns and she hunted very well.          <description><![CDATA[<div>She advanced the technique of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-ray_crystallography">X-ray crystallography</a>, a method used to determine the three-dimensional structures of crystals. Among her most influential discoveries are the confirmation of the structure of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penicillin">penicillin</a> as previously surmised by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Abraham">Edward Abraham</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst_Boris_Chain">Ernst Boris Chain</a>, and the structure of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_B12">vitamin B<sub>12</sub></a>, for which she became the third woman to win the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_Prize_in_Chemistry">Nobel Prize in Chemistry</a>.</div><div>In 1969, after 35 years of work, Hodgkin was able to decipher the structure of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insulin">insulin</a>. X-ray crystallography became a widely used tool and was critical in later determining the structures of many biological molecules where knowledge of structure is critical to an understanding of function.
