the first band I ever saw live by myself was Whitechapel. this was in 2025 in June. this was I really wanted to see them live and also to try and improve my confidence with getting to places and also transport.

Te first ever metal band I got into by myself was linkin park. I first heard their song, what I've done, in the 2007 film transformers. this was when I was 7 years old. I enjoyed this song on the soundtrack an I thought Chesters voice was very appealing

My second influence in deathcore was the band carnifex and this is my favourite album from them, called hell chose me. I discovered carnifex a month or so after lorna shore, and I have also gotten into bands such as signs of the swarm, Chelsea grin and vulvodynia. I have managed to see vulvodynia live in January of 2025 with shadow of intent and revocation.

Before I got into heavy metal my main bands to listen to were, linkin park, fall out boy and twenty one pilots. This was between ten and ages 8-14. One of my favourites was the album bluryface by twenty one pilots, of which I remember when it first came out. it helped me so much through bad times in primary and secondary school as Tylers lyrics I think are very meaningful and then later when I was 16, josh dun, the drummer from twenty one pilots became influential to me as a drummer as he has so much energy while performing.

I remember getting shown slipknot back when I was in year 9 and me saying "what the actual fuck is that". I eventually listened to them more and more the. they became oe of my favourite bands since I was in year 11, my favourite album is Iowa as I believe it is they're most raw and aggressive album.
