I lived in Netherlands for ten months. I knew about lifestyle Dutch. The Dutch are very friendly, polite and very open to cutural difference. They like Carnival as much as Brazilians. The diference is the weather, because in February is very cold. The architecture is amazin. The houses is so beautifuls and huge. Everywhere is possible find information about the painter Vicent Van Gogh. There is a smal city called Nuenen. Van Gogh lived there for two years and painted his first picture " Potato Eaters". There is a sculpture in the town square.
Nuenen is my favorite city in the Netherlands.
I liked a lot about this expirence and I hope to come back soon.

The first time I ate Escargot - Chirlene Santiago

I honestly don't know how to start this text. Do you know why? Because writing here and eating Escargot are so hard for me that I feel a little nervous. But let's go!I traveled to Paris last weekend. I know teacher, on Monday you asked how our weekend was and I didn't say anything, but I said: I'm really shy!!!!!

I was in Paris for two days and everything was very beautiful, I even thought about the possibility of living there, but as I don't have a European passport, I have already deleted that idea.
Paris is really beautiful and its food, besides being delicious, is extremely different. Speaking of food, I, from Ceará, who have already eaten frogs, couldn't not eat the famous Escargot.
There I was, sitting in the restaurant in Paris, looking like a rich person and I asked the waitress for a dish suggestion. She asked where I was from and I said happily, I'm from Brazil. She smiled and said the only thing that could surprise me would be Escargot. I was all excited and said: bring this little one.
When that plate arrived on the table, I felt like Julia Roberts in the movie, Pretty Woman.
Hahahahaha
I swear to God, I couldn't imagine anything else. In the movie vibe, I tried to eat Escargot. I must confess that it was not an easy task but as I am Brazilian and I never give up (as President Lula said), I was strong, I tried the first one, loved the taste and devoured the whole food.
When the waitress came back to see if I liked it, I had already eaten. She confessed to me that she never tried the dish because she doesn't have the courage.

Ps. I just didn't eat anymore because it was expensive and I didn't have any more money.
