I learnt that the alignment of disciplinary outcomes and PDLP outcomes are very important - we cannot view the tech plan document or the department plan document in silo. We need to also help schools see the connection between these documents so that it does not feel like extra work for them, and help them see how these documents can work well to support their planning.

The various frames are also useful lenses (ABC and CPA) we can use when reviewing department plans and SOWs. It was also shared how we can help to ease the workload of the teachers by suggesting to distribute the various focus to different departments (eg. each subject area to focus on designing one particular LE).

For reviewing the department PD plans, we can also leverage the use of 3A1S frame - ASSESS readiness and competence of teachers, create opportunities for teachers to ACQUIRE the necessary skills, allow them to APPLY these skills and create platforms for them to SHARE good practices with the department, across departments or beyond the school.
(Yinmin)

Integration of tech into curriculum planning involves a linear process of translating the intended outcomes in tech plan to dept plan to SOW. As such, there is a need to ensure that the outcomes of each plan is aligned to one another. I also now see how CPA and PD approaches are done and built in an iterative manner to design lessons for active learning. (Serene)
